We will be arriving in Reykjavik on August 4th to give us a day to get over the flight (It’s a Boeing 737, no lay flat seats on the plane) and get to see a bit of Iceland before we fly to Greenland on August 6th.

The itinerary has changed a bit since we made the booking, but that always seems to happen these days. And they say that they don’t know what our route will be through the Northwest Passage – we will just choose the best way to go to avoid the ice packs. Hey, as long as we end up in Anchorage, I’m happy!

It should be quite an adventure. Do you know what they aren’t continuing to offer that Cruise? Enjoy.
I think they are trying to limit shipping through the Northwest Passage, which really does make sense. However, the new itineraries will go from Iceland/Greenland as far as Nunavut and then back east again which I think will also be spectacular. No Alaska tho’.
